Developed for women by a woman healer, teacher, and author, Spirit of Woman Australian Wild Flower Essences can help women nurture themselves, support themselves, and step into their own strength and power.
New Female Essences for the New Feminine Energies
The essences came to life in the summer of 2000, when Annie Meredith had an extraordinary experience. She was looking over her garden at Mt Nebo into the rainforest beyond, when she spotted what seemed to be a ghostly apparition peeking though the greenery.
“I was drawn to it as if magnetically, I came across a large, white, ethereal-looking flower, one of many, on a spindly tree, which became visible after I pushed my way through the undergrowth and tangle. It was around the time when my second daughter had just started her periods and was experiencing agonising pain at the outset. This flower spoke to me! It said, “Let me help Grace with her period pain”. Gratefully, I hastened to make up the flower into an essence, and gave it to Grace. Her almost instant response to the medicine uplifted me and filled me with gratitude and reverence”, said Annie.
From that moment on, information began to channel through her. It was as if she had become a transmitter for the high frequency energy of the Plant Kingdom. For example, she would be driving along the road, when suddenly she would get an impulse to stop the car. She would jump out and, as if magnetically drawn, would find herself striding through the bush land searching everywhere, until she found the little flower that was calling her. “When I sat down to communicate with the flower deva I would sense a mutual sigh of relief that we had finally connected”.
Twenty essences came through in that summer. Annie made up each one and wrote down her understandings of the healing qualities, channelled through as she sat in loving communion with each plant. The other five essences came through in the intervening years. However, the energy of that first summer was indelibly printed on her being, as a time when she seemed to be a channel for pure light energy.
“It was an amazing experience”, Annie said.
Annie used the essences often in her clinic, alongside the Australian Bushflower Essences, for whom she was a senior trainer. “It was clear that the Mt Nebo Essences were targeted specifically at women, and over time that really became clearer,”she said.
And finally in Autumn 2009, Annie felt the time was right to launch the essences. On June 21, Winter Solstice, at the Brisbane Campus of the Austalian College of Natural Medicine, where Annie had been a teacher for many years, the essences were birthed for public use for the first time. Here Annie is pictured with Naturopath Tina Taylor at that ‘blessed birthing’.
