The journey to empowerment

In month 3 of my 12-chakra balancing journey I took Manipura Chakra Essence and used Crisis Calm Spray Mist daily. Use of both was timely. I was due to present at an international Naturopathy conference in Paris, which sounds wonderful but triggered a few issues. Firstly, a long-held fear of flying, which came about from two key events; a plane I was on 15 years ago hit a big air pocket and dropped rapidly and dramatically enough that most passengers were praying to whatever deity they had faith in. This was followed by getting food poisoning on the very next flight I took, which led to 14 hours of visiting the plane toilet. I didn’t fly for 5 years after those events but eventually white knuckled my way back onto a flight. Since then, my fear has been in check and I can fly but I still don’t like it much, particularly long flights. So, I wasn’t looking forward to 24 hours flying to Paris. A week after starting Crisis Calm Spray Mist and Manipura I boarded the flight in Brisbane at 3.30am in the morning and I was calm enough that I promptly slept for the next 5 hours! Aside from the discomfort of being in economy, I realised I had no issues being on the plane. The return flight was equally easy.

Starting the month with Manipura, my focus was ‘empowerment’. I wanted to feel confident within my own uniqueness and what I had to offer. Presenting in front of a large audience of peers felt intimidating even though I wasn’t a first time presenter. I did however wonder if the content would be interesting enough and if nerves would get the better of me on the day. Taking Manipura consciously allowed me the presence of mind to think through my process; I completed the literature review because there was a lack of clarity in the research space, and I was familiar with the content. This was enough to get me over the doubt. The presentation went well and afterwards I was glad it was over!

Empowerment

I felt confident in my own uniqueness and what I had to offer.

For the rest of the holiday I used Crisis Calm Spray Mist daily even though I wasn’t in a ‘crisis’, rather by absolute contrast to crisis mode, being on holidays I was relaxed, slept well, didn’t worry about how much yummy bread and cheese I was eating, went with the flow and enjoyed myself. Using Crisis Calm Spray Mist in this context allowed me to deepen my sense of self and what I needed in the moment. I didn’t make plans or write lists of places to visit but by going with the flow, I managed to see amazing things, experience much and enjoy being in a different country without stress or urgency. It was a deeply resetting month for me and upon my return it was a perfect time to move onto the energy of the heart centre with Anahata Chakra Essence and Protection Spray Mist. More on this experience next time 🙂
